Today was AMAZING! We are in paradise and there are no words to describe it (and the pictures are still not working). After a separate breakfast (
my head was punding and it has been for 5 days so I wasn’t very good company we left for the tour of the day. Tour C… where we visit 5 different beaches, 2 of which are impossible to find If you don’t know where to look.

The first beach was everything you would want, emerald blue water, white sand and some impressive rock formations. Since our boat left the harbor late we arrived when most of the other boats were leaving, which was fine by me. We had a good time in the water snorkeling and had a small fotoshoot on a deserted part of the beach.

When we got back on the boat I noticed that there was some fog in my GoPro, opened it, cleaned the lens and then… I broke a little piece of the waterproof case and it wouldn’t close anymore… Ow no… not today! Luckily my phone is waterproof too, so we did get to take more pictures at the other beaches, but not of the underwater life…

The 2nd beach was hidden. We had to walk through some rough water, well. It wasn’t the water that was the most difficult but the stones and corals beneath it. When we got there it was gorgous. I just love it when a beach is small and cozy… but breathtakingly beautiful at the same time.

After the hidden beach we had lunch on the boat. The boatmen had prepared it on the back deck and it included fresh fish, chicken, rice, salad, watermelon, banana’s, a soy like sauce for over the rice, pork and oysters….not my everyday lunch but it was a feast and there was enough for everyone.

After the feast we sailed to the next beach. The water was a little rough and with the sun  behind the clouds it looked a little grim… And then we moren next to a rock wall. We didn’t get it until we saw people coming out of that wall… There was a hole and you had to swim through it to reach the secret beach. Unfortunately all the boats where there so it was very crowded. And I didn’t have my GoPro to show how small the hole was and how strong the current. I hve to say though, all the Filipino boat boys helped us through, even the Filipinos who couldn’t swim and just lay in the water in their life vests.

Then the 4th beach, which was just a snorkel place because the island with the shrine was now privately owned and they wanted an entrance fe.. But the snorkeling was so beautiful and me and Gen had a blast splashing around. We met some people on the boat, a Spanish man and Indian originated women who are housemates in Singapore. They were our friends for the rest of the day!

The last beach was almost deserted again, it was in the shadow because the high rocks were blocking the already low set sun. We enjoyed the beach but by this time  my head was pounding again.

It took us little over an hour to sail back to El Nido and even though I love boats I just wanted it to stop moving because my head couldn’t stand the movement. We decided not to go camping, not because the camping isn’t awesome but it would mean 2 more days like this and it was amazing but I do need a place to relax a little… I’m getting older too apparently.

After we arranged the boat trip to Coron and tried to look for a Go Pro replacement case (and ended up buying tape…. I’m going to take my chances) we had  a drink on the beach and went back to the hotel. I showered and jumped into bed… Gen showered ad got ready to meet our new best friends Joseph and Samia (?). So I’m alone in the room and it’s almost lights our. As long as I don’t move my head I’m fine. If I want to dive tomorrow I need to be at the diveshop at 7:45. Hopefeully I will feel better so me and my taped GoPro can watch some more fish!

I managed to get some pictures online but it wouldn’t upload all…
