After only 3 hours of sleep I woke up… My throat was hurting like crazy… I guess I overused my vouce by singing at the top of my lungs. I walked out of the room and when I got back I noticed the smell of alcohol that lingered in the room. Gen was still sleeping and I rad a little because I couldn’t sleep anymore. When the alarm went off we both got out of bed. Gen still a little intoxicated, got dressedand went to the beach to get some breakfast and a lot of water.

We packed our daypacks and waited to be picked up where the same process repeated itself… we got in a van, drove to an office, Gen got a mask, we walked to the boat and… there was still high tide so I was happy I had my bikini on and arrived at the boat with my dress still dry.
We did our usual game which is guessing from which country people are and wat their relation/story is. It was an interesting boat. We sat next to a 21 year old student who was abroad for a semester in Singapore but was originally German but studied in Maastricht. Then there were a lot of other people including some Russians we had met before.
The first beach was okay, it wasn’t as spectacular as tour C and neither was beach 2… there were small cottages on there and you could buy fruitjuice, which feels kinda weird. Next we went to the small lagoon… people had adviced us not to rent the kayaks here but to do ist in the big lagoon… so we swam. The water was shallow so we could rest.. and just as I set my feet down I got attacked by a small but very aggressive and territorial fish.. Ouch! Gen got bit to, not really terrifiying when you know what they are… but kinda scare… So I worked on my tactic to scare the little buggars. We swam further into the lagoon and it was lovely. I noticed that I’m getting a little desensitized to all the beauty.. We both had seen so many gorgeous things that you het used to it, which really sucks!
We swam back to the boat and waited o a stone, where the boatboy from the other day came to sit with us and he started singing… We fell in love with him again, his voice was so nice and he was just adorable. So we sang together and then Gen and me swum back to the boat. After all the swimming we had worked up an appetite and it was great to have lunch waiting for us. Again, it was well prepared and lovely!
When we were all full and feeling a little chilled out we set to go snorkeling, we just chilled on the boat and I jumped in for a minute to cool off. I’ve been in and underwater a lot and ist was nice to be in the shade. After that we set to the secret lagoon, which we again had to crawl through a rock to reach,. It was funny that the water in this lagoon was a lot colder. Jason, our tourguide also took some funny pictures of us. We thought that this was it, but apparently one of the beaches or the snorkeling didn’t count bevause we were still heading to the big lagoon.
When we arrived Gen, Nicklas (german boy) and me rented a kayak. Gen was in the frond taking pictures and Nicholas and me paddled….. The Gopro is realy nic e(I taped it together and have a rubberband to keep it in place ) but you can’t see your pictures immediately. Gen took a lot of gorgeous picture,s but all with her feet and the tip of the canoe in them. While paddling we had a blast, singing, going through little caves and getting stuck… Just being silly and it was amazing!
After this it was time to set back to the harbor….where we arrived and now we just packed our bags to go to our final destination. Tomorrow the boat leaves at 6 am… so everything is packed and Gen and me are ready for another night out! We did promise not to comsume as much alcohol (well, I quit drinking quite soon last night) and decided we’ll do some sleeping on the boat. We really really love El nido and feel kind of sad leaving because there’s so much that we didn’t do yet… but tonight it’sa full moon and we’re celebrating!
